Where does tuition take place?

Students come to the tutor's house in Wylam, in the Tyne Valley.  Wylam is 15 minutes drive from West Newcastle, West Gateshead and Ponteland.  The house is 4 minutes walk from Wylam station, and there are also buses from all parts of the Tyne Valley and Newcastle.  There is free car parking at the house. How long do courses last?

It depends on what you want. AMF FRENCH offers short and long courses and above all flexibility.

Can I just come for French conversation?  I don't like exams.

Yes!  Just contact the tutor and say what you would like to do.  Note that OCNNER and AMF FRENCH  courses are not assessed with exams, but are assessed by coursework and oral assessments informally.

Will I be able to keep up?

Yes!  The course is designed to suit your needs.  You receive patient attention and the tutor will go at your pace.  Many past students have come because they don't like the competitive nature of some French classes.

Can I come as part of a group?

Most tuition  is one-to-one as AMF French  provides a quality service for individual need. Please ask if you require group tuition.

What sort of people have private tuition?

All sorts of people!  AMF French has taught complete beginners both adults and children.  Also students whose French is a rusty O level and students needing to clinch that A level grade.  (Including grade A students).  The following  students have been taught by Amf tuition:
