One hour one-to-one tuition in the tutor's home (Wylam Tyne Valley)

30 minute distance-learning phone tutorial GCSE/level 2

^{1 This price includes 5 written lessons sent to students via email, email support. Assessment marking will be charged at £8.00 per assessment}

Students will be asked to bear the cost of oral tuition phone calls themselves.

Short translation course

This price includes 5 lessons plus marking of the translation. Distance-learning oral lessons available at normal rates - see above.

Level 3 distance-learning module

^{1This price includes  4 written lessons sent to students via email, email support + 8 oral practice phone tutorials.  Written material is normally sent via email. The written material for level 3  includes course notes, assessment exercises, vocabulary and answers. Students can opt to join an E-list whereby they are sent emails about current affairs, topics of interest etc every now and again.}

Payment

By cheque or by Paypal.

Please make cheques out to Alison Fisher. Receipts will be issued on payment of invoice.

All modules and phone tutorials must be paid for in advance.

Flexible tutoring option

For local students in the North-East, flexible tutoring i.e. phone tutorial/ one-to-one combinations are possible, e.g. if you wish to attend a one-to-one session on a fortnightly basis, you can have a phone tutorial on alternate weeks. This would be priced in accordance with one-to-one/ phone tutorial rates - see above.

Fees for groups and work in locations other than the tutor’s home: - please ask for details.

Students who commit to 2 year's tuition, e.g. GCSE years 10/11 or A level years 12/13 will have their fees frozen at the first year's rate.  

Cancellation fee

Students cancelling one-to-one sessions  without 24 hours notice will be charged half the cost of the session.  Oral tuition phone sessions cancelled without 24 hours notice will be charged at full cost.
